How it works
Choose the document
Page sizes are read first, because the number is placed relative to each page's own edges rather than an assumed A4.
Choose position and format
Six positions, and a format of your own: {n} becomes the number and {total} the page count, so Page {n} of {total} works.
Download the numbered document
Numbers are drawn onto the pages in the built-in Helvetica, and the result is reopened and checked before you get it.
What it will not do
- Western digits and Latin text only; Arabic-Indic numerals need an embedded font and are not supported yet.
- One position and one format per run.
- The number is drawn onto the page and cannot be removed afterwards, so keep your original.
